Self Care for Caregivers

WHEN:   Saturday 30 May, 2.30pm – 4.30pm 

COST:    $40

You may be caring for parent, child, sibling, partner or caring in a professional role. It’s a rewarding and profoundly meaningful role but working with aging, disability, mental health issues, trauma or illness can be taxing on your nervous system. In this 2 hour session, we’ll spend a little time discussing the warning signs of burn-out and what the fight, flight, freeze, fawn and flop responses look like in adults. Then, we’ll incorporate gentle yoga, restorative yoga, meditation and breathing techniques for stress-management and nervous system regulation. You are worthy of support and respite.

Weekly Classes by Tania Alexander Yoga

We are thrilled to have Tania, teaching 3 of her classes from our studio. Tania and Naomi have been attending each other’s classes for over 2 years now and have a deep respect for each other’s respective styles.

  • Hatha Yoga Tue 9:30am – 10:30am
  • Yin & Meditation Tue 11:00am – 12:00pm
  • Gentle Yoga Wed 6:00pm – 7.00pm

All bookings and payments for these classes direct to TA Yoga.

Workshop Terms and Conditions:

Guarantee place by registering and paying in full prior to course / workshop commencement. Regular Class Passes or Intro Passes are not valid for special events and courses. Payment is non-refundable. Payment is to be received at least 5 days before the commencement of the workshop as minimum numbers apply. Should the event not run due to COVID restrictions or minimum numbers not being reached, those registrants will be contacted, and a full refund will be provided.
